How to Delete GA4 Google Analytics Account Property or Data Streams

Today in this article we will see how to delete GA4 Google Analytics Account Property or Data Streams through the Google Analytics user interface.

Common reasons to delete GA4 account or property

The impact of GA4 account or property or datastreams deletion

Delete GA4 Google Analytics Account

Delete GA4 Google Analytics Property

Delete GA4 DataStreams

The need to delete a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property or account may arise for various reasons, depending on your specific circumstances. Here are some common reasons why someone might consider deleting a GA4 property or account.

Common reasons to delete GA4 account or property

Data Cleanup: You may want to delete irrelevant or unnecessary tracking data. Deleting a property or account can help you clean up and reduce clutter in your Google Analytics account.

Starting Fresh: You may want to start with a clean slate for tracking purposes. This can be useful if you’ve made significant changes to your website or app and want to begin tracking from scratch with updated configurations.

Reorganization: Your website or app structure may change, and you want to reorganize your analytics properties and accounts to better reflect your new business structure or goals.

Account or Property Consolidation: If you have multiple GA4 properties or accounts and want to consolidate them for easier management, you may choose to delete some of them to simplify your analytics setup.

Security and Privacy: In some cases, businesses may choose to delete GA4 properties or accounts to enhance data privacy and security, especially if they have collected data that they no longer need or that poses privacy risks.

Compliance: Regulatory changes or compliance requirements may necessitate the deletion of certain data or properties to ensure that you comply with data protection laws like GDPR or CCPA.

Account Closure: If you’re no longer using Google Analytics for a particular website or app, you may want to delete the associated GA4 property to reduce administrative overhead.

The impact of GA4 account or property or datastreams deletion

Deleting a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) account property or data stream has significant implications, and it’s important to understand the impact before proceeding. Here are the key consequences of deleting a GA4 account or property.

Loss of All Data: When you delete a GA4 account or property or data stream, you will permanently lose all data associated with that property including website or app tracking data, events, user interactions, and reports and configuration data.

Impact on Reports: All historical reports and data insights for that GA4 account or property or data stream will become unavailable. You won’t be able to access any historical information related to user behavior, traffic sources, or other analytics metrics.

Disruption to Tracking: Deleting a GA4 account or property or data stream will disrupt your tracking capabilities for the associated website or app. You will need to set up a new account or property or data stream and implement tracking again.

Loss of Goals and Conversions: Any configured goals and conversions that were being tracked in the deleted property will no longer be tracked. You’ll need to recreate these goals and conversion tracking in a new GA4 property.

Loss of User Segments: Any saved user segments or audiences you created within the deleted property will be lost. You’ll need to recreate these segments if you create a new GA4 property.

Changes to Permissions: If you had granted access to other users or collaborators for the deleted property, their access will be revoked. You will need to reconfigure permissions for the new property if necessary.

Reporting Disruption: If you were using GA4 data for regular reporting, decision-making, or client reporting, the deletion will disrupt your reporting processes until you set up and collect data in a new GA4 property.

Impact on Integrations: If you had integrated other platforms or tools with your GA4 property, such as Google Ads or Google BigQuery, you may need to reconfigure these integrations for the new property.

Today in this article we will see How to Increase CPC (Cost per Click) and CTR(Click Through Rate).

The cost per click (CPC) metric, which is used in online advertising, shows how much a business is willing to spend for each click on its ads.

In pay-per-click (PPC) advertising strategies, where advertisers only pay when a user clicks on their ad and not for ad impressions, it is a key component.

Through the use of an auction-based system, the CPC value is decided.

The ad with the highest bid and the greatest relevance to the user’s search query is displayed when advertisers submit bids on particular keywords or ad placements.

When a user clicks on an advertisement, the advertiser with the winning bid pays the sum of the bid.

Use Header Bidding

Data-Driven Ad Optimization

Incorporate Video Content

Ad Formats

Optimize Ad Placement

Quality Content

Keyword Research

Long-Tail Keywords

Ad Size and Design

Good Design of User Experience (UX)

Direct Ad Deals – Advertisers and Publishers

Content-based Ads – Ad Relevancy

Other Useful guidelines

Create Audience segment

Mobile Optimization

Target Niche Audiences

Filter Ad Networks with Higher CPC Rates

Improve SEO and Website Traffic

A number of variables, such as keyword competitiveness, ad relevancy, quality score, and overall ad performance, affect CPC and CTR.

To get a good return on investment (ROI), maintain a balance between bidding aggressively to get ad places and making sure that their advertising is pertinent and helpful to users.

A higher CPC translates into more money for publishers and website owners with each click made on the adverts displayed on their pages. Publishers concentrate on producing high-quality content, selecting relevant keywords, enhancing ad placements, and luring advertisers willing to spend more to reach their target audience in order to improve CPC.

Use Header Bidding

Implement header bidding to increase competition among advertisers and potentially drive higher CPC rates.

Header bidding is a progressive programmatic advertising technique that can potentially increase CPC by increasing competition among ad buyers.

Unlike traditional waterfall-based ad setups, header bidding allows multiple ad exchanges and demand sources to bid simultaneously for ad inventory in real time before the page loads.

By implementing header bidding, publishers can offer their ad inventory to multiple demand partners at once, including ad networks and direct advertisers.

This increased competition results in higher bids for the ad placements, potentially leading to higher CPC rates.

Advertisers are more likely to bid competitively to secure premium ad spaces and reach their target audience effectively.

Moreover, header bidding reduces latency and improves ad fill rates, providing a better user experience. The increased revenue from higher CPC or CTR rates and improved ad performance can contribute significantly to the publisher’s overall ad revenue and profitability.

Overall, header bidding empowers publishers to maximize their ad revenue potential and increase the value of their ad inventory.

Data-Driven Ad Optimization

Use data analytics to identify top-performing ads and optimize them for better CPC results.

Utilizing data and analytics, data-driven ad optimization for CPC (Cost Per Click) aims to boost the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns and increase clickthrough rates while lowering expenses. Here’s how to use data-driven ad optimization for CPC.

Utilize resources like Google Analytics or ad platform analytics to collect information on the effectiveness of advertisements, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and other pertinent metrics.

Determine which keywords have good CTRs and conversion rates by analyzing the data. To increase the number of clicks from interested consumers, concentrate on these keywords in your ad campaigns.

To change your bid strategy, use data. To maximize your CPC, raise your bids for keywords that generate profitable clicks while lowering them for less productive phrases.

Incorporate Video Content

Incorporate video content on your website to increase engagement and attract advertisers interested in video ads.

Video ads can have an impact on CPC (Cost Per Click), depending on several factors.

In some cases, video ads can increase CPC, while in others, they may not have a significant effect. Here are a few scenarios to consider.

High Engagement: If video ads are engaging, well-targeted, and resonate with the audience, they may lead to higher click-through rates (CTR) and potentially increase CPC.

Increased Competition: Video ads, especially on popular platforms, might attract more advertisers vying for the same audience. This increased competition can drive up bid prices, resulting in higher CPC rates.

Relevance: Video ads that align closely with the user’s interests and search queries tend to generate more clicks. As a result, they may lead to higher CPC because advertisers are willing to pay more to reach a highly relevant audience.

Ad Formats

Ad format can significantly influence CPC (Cost Per Click) rates.

Although ad performance and CPC are impacted by various factors, including ad relevance, targeting, bid strategy, and competition.

Different ad formats offer varying levels of user engagement, visibility, and interactivity, which can impact click-through rates (CTR) and ultimately influence CPC.

Here’s how ad formats can affect CPC.

Video Ads

In-Stream Ads

Interactive Ads

Native Ads

Display Ads

Text Ads

Carousel Ads

It’s important to note that ad performance and CPC are influenced by various factors, including ad relevance, targeting, bid strategy, and competition.

Choosing the right ad format that aligns with your campaign goals and resonates with your target audience can contribute to achieving a favorable CPC and overall ad success. Regularly monitor and analyze ad performance to optimize CPC and overall campaign performance.

Use a mix of ad formats, such as display, video, native, and text ads, to cater to various advertisers and increase CPC opportunities.

Optimize Ad Placement

Experiment with different ad placements on your website to find the most effective positions for higher click-through rates (CTRs).

Optimizing ad placement can have a significant impact on CPC (Cost Per Click) rates in online advertising.

The placement of ads on a webpage can influence user engagement, visibility, and click-through rates (CTR), which in turn affect CPC. Here’s how optimizing ad placement can increase CPC

Placement– Above the Fold

Placement – Relevant Content

Placement – Interstitial Ads

Placement – In-Content

Quality Content

Create high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that attracts valuable visitors and encourages clicks on ads.

Quality content also contributes to a positive user experience, fostering trust and credibility, which can further impact ad engagement and CPC rates. When users find valuable content, they are more likely to interact with ads displayed on the site, leading to increased click-through rates (CTR).

Quality content can positively influence CPC (Cost Per Click) rates in online advertising.

High-quality and engaging content attracts relevant and interested users to a website or landing page.

A higher CTR can result in better ad performance and potentially higher CPC, as advertisers are willing to pay more to reach a targeted and engaged audience.

Keyword Research

By investing time in comprehensive keyword research, advertisers can optimize their ad campaigns for better performance, relevant targeting, and efficient budget utilization.

Target high-value keywords with strong commercial intent to attract advertisers willing to pay more for clicks.

Targeting the right keywords allows advertisers to attract a more engaged audience, leading to higher click-through rates and, in turn, potentially increasing CPC rates.

Popular and competitive keywords often have increased CPC rates because multiple advertisers are competing for ad placements on those keywords. Identifying these high-demand keywords through research allows advertisers to better allocate their budget and bidding strategy.

Long-Tail Keywords

Focus on long-tail keywords to capture specific audience segments and reduce competition for ad space.

Long-tail keywords can have a mixed impact on CPC (Cost Per Click) rates in online advertising, depending on various factors. Here’s how long-tail keywords can influence CPC.

Long-tail keywords allow advertisers to target niche audiences, catering to specific needs and likes. This attentive targeting can result in higher conversion rates, making the CPC investment more cost-effective.

Ad Size and Design

Ad size and design can have a significant impact on CPC (Cost Per Click) rates in online advertising.

The size and design of an ad influence its visibility, engagement, and user response, which can affect click-through rates (CTR) and ultimately impact CPC.

Example: Larger ad sizes tend to have higher visibility on web pages, attracting more attention from users.

Properly placed, visually appealing ads are more likely to receive clicks, potentially increasing CPC.

Optimize ad sizes and designs to make them more appealing and increase the likelihood of clicks.

Optimizing ad design for different screen sizes and devices ensures that ads are visually appealing and easy to interact with, improving overall engagement and potential CPC rates.

Good Design of User Experience (UX)

A good user experience (UX) can have a favorable effect on CPC (Cost Per Click) rates.

Higher engagement, higher click-through rates (CTR), and eventually maybe greater CPC might result from a good and user-friendly website or landing page.

Increased Engagement: Users are more likely to stay involved and continue exploring a website that has a user-friendly layout and appealing graphics. Users who are actively engaged are more likely to click on advertising, which increases CTR and may also increase CPC.

Relevant Content: Good UX makes sure that content, including advertisements, is pertinent and adheres to consumers’ expectations and interests. Relevant ads have a higher chance of generating clicks, which raises CPC rates.

Websites with good UX tend to reduce ad blindness, as users are more engaged with the content and are more likely to notice and interact with relevant ads.

By prioritizing UX design, advertisers can create a user-centric environment that encourages engagement, click activity, and ultimately, higher CPC rates. A positive UX can lead to better ad performance, increased user interaction with ads, and improved overall campaign success.

Direct Ad Deals – Advertisers and Publishers

Direct ad deals can potentially increase CPC (Cost Per Click) rates in online advertising.

When advertisers and publishers negotiate ad placements directly, they have more control over ad pricing and targeting.

Direct deals often involve premium ad placements on high-traffic and relevant websites, which can attract a more engaged and targeted audience. Advertisers may be willing to pay a premium for such exclusive and strategic placements, resulting in higher CPC rates.

Additionally, direct ad deals can lead to a more tailored and relevant ad experience for users, increasing the likelihood of clicks and driving up CPC.

Work directly with advertisers or agencies to negotiate higher CPC rates for premium ad placements.

Content-based Ads – Ad Relevancy

When ads are highly relevant to the user’s search query or the content of the webpage, they are more likely to attract clicks. Relevant ads resonate with the user’s interests, needs, and intent, leading to better engagement and click-through rates (CTR).

As a result, ad platforms reward relevant ads with higher ad positions and better ad placements. Higher CTR and ad positioning can lead to increased competition among advertisers, potentially driving up CPC as advertisers bid more to secure these valuable and relevant ad placements.

Today in this article we will see different techniques of how To Make a WordPress Database Backup without plugin. We will see Database backup using a manual approach and using an automation approach.

You must be wondering if we can manually generate a backup of your WordPress database without using a plugin.

We will see an approach where we don’t need to install any external plugin or manually do any operation.

You May Want to Minimize Plugin Use?

What is SFTP

Worpdress – Connect to Wodpress backup via SFTP

WordPress File Download using FTP

Automate WordPress backup using Task scheduler

Delete WordPress backup files after Download

There could be multiple legitimate reasons for you not to use the plugin

You May Want to Minimize Plugin Use?

You may Want to Minimize Plugin Use due to any of the below reasons,

You may be concerned about a number of the WordPress plugins your website is utilizing.

Plugin use may slower your site you have an increased chance of a plugin conflict taking down your site, or a compromised plugin creating a security hole in your site.

You may want easy to managed customized Backup Approach.

You are concerned about website security while using a backup plugin

This approach doesn’t need any plugins if you are more concerned about plugins affecting the performance of your website unnecessarily.

If you are a programmer and know a little bit of coding, then you can write simple few lines of code and implement the back functionality on your own.

You can rapidly build a database backup anytime you need one if you are familiar with the manual process.

We’ll demonstrate how to manually configure a WordPress database backup in this article.

There are various manual ways and automated ways which can be used to generate backup.

Using File Explorer

Using code script – C# SSH.NET or Python script

Using Plugin

Using Manual tools like Filezilla etc.

I will be elaborating on at least 5 different techniques of database backup in the article.

However today we will only focus on the approach where you write a C# script to download the files directly from the WordPress file explorer location or backup location.

What is SFTP

SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) is a secure file transfer protocol. It runs over the SSH protocol. It supports the full security and authentication functionality of SSH.

We will cover how to use SFTP-supported libraries i.e SSH.NET library

Worpdress – Connect to Wodpress backup via SFTP

SSH.NET provides SFTPClient class that lets you connect to the SFTP server securely and access files for

read, write, upload, or download purposes,

Below the sample code read the FTP file and write their name on the console.

     using (var client = new SftpClient("****", "user", "****"))
            {
                client.Connect();
                ListDirectory(client, ".");
                foreach (var file in files)
                {
                  Console.WriteLine(file.FullName);
                }
             }

The above ListDirectory uses the default path to fetch a file from the SFTP server.

WordPress File Download using FTP

Downloading the file from a remote file path is pretty simple once the connection is established successfully.

Use the below code to download the file via stream

using (var client = new SftpClient("****", "user", "****"))
            {
                client.Connect();
                ListDirectory(client, ".");
                foreach (var file in files)
                {
                Console.WriteLine(file.FullName);
                using (Stream stream = File.Create($"{destinationPath}{"/"}{ file.Name}"))
                    {
                        client.DownloadFile(file.FullName, fileStream);

                    }

                }

               client.Disconnect();
             }

In the above code,

destinationPath – Is the file path where the file will be downloaded via SFTP and FTP

localDirectoryFilePath – File path where the file will be downloaded to the local path.

Automate WordPress backup using Task scheduler

Once you complete your exe development as above, then it’s all about setting up the exe and executing it on your laptop/machine on the scheduled configuration.

You can configure database backup daily or monthly as needed.

Delete WordPress backup files after Download

If you are interested to delete the backup database, then please use the below way to delete the file,

using (Stream fileStream = File.Create($"{destinationPath}{"/"}{ file.Name}"))
                    {
                        client.DownloadFile(file.FullName, fileStream);
                        client.DeleteFile(file.FullName);
                    }

Kindly visit the below article for more details on how to run exe using the task scheduler as below,

Today in this article, we will learn how to perform Node.js – Bulk Submit URLs to Google Search Console.

We will Node.js example to Bulk Submit URLs to Google Search Engine/Console for Indexing or Crawling purpose.

We already learned how to set up the service account, project, and other configurations so that we can leverage Google’s Indexing API before.

Today in this article, we will cover below aspects,

Step1- Define the scope and endpoint

Step2 – Include the service account access token

Step3 – Define the body of the request and invoke API

If you have not performed mandatory prerequisites, please follow the below article for more details,

Configuration to setup multiple URLs submit to Google Search Console

You may find the need to submit the URLs due to many reasons like article update due to new data or upgrade or article enhancement, etc. In such scenarios, it is always difficult to perform indexing manually.

We shall be using below endpoints required for publishing the URLs,

Step1- Define the scope and endpoint

In your node js code please define the scopes and endpoint as below,

scopes as  "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/indexing";
url as "https://indexing.googleapis.com/v3/urlNotifications:publish";

Step2 – Include the service account access token

Please include the service account access token in your code. In the last article, we generated a service account token thecodebuzz-da659b2b8b0d.json which is the private key that you use to authenticate the service account using OAuth2.

For more details :

Create Service account JSON for Google Indexing API

Step3 – Define the body of the request and invoke API

Defining service key

var request = require("request");
var { google } = require("googleapis");
var key = require("./service_account.json");

Define JWT client

const jwtClient = new google.auth.JWT(
  key.client_email,
  null,
  key.private_key,
  ["https://www.googleapis.com/auth/indexing"],
  null
);

Use jwtClient to call Post method

Below is a sample Java code that can be used to send Bulk URLs to Indexing API

jwtClient.authorize(function(err, tokens) {
  if (err) {
    console.log(err);
    return;
  }
  let options = {
    url: "https://indexing.googleapis.com/v3/urlNotifications:publish",
    method: "POST",
    // Your options, which must include the Content-Type and auth headers
    headers: {
      "Content-Type": "application/json"
    },
    auth: { "bearer": tokens.access_token },
    // Define contents here. The structure of the content is described in the next step.
    json: {
      "url": "http://example.com/jobs/42",
      "type": "URL_UPDATED"
    }
  };
  request(options, function (error, response, body) {
    // Handle the response
    console.log(body);
  });
});

In the above code content is defined to contain the URL to be submitted.

We have to define request format ie. Content-Type as “application/json”

Once successfully submitted the URLs for indexing, you can see the status code as 200 for the request.
