Today in this article we will see simple and easy techniques on how to resolve the error “Your email requires verification to verify …”
Issue Description
Error visible as below
- If you are using WordPress, this observation is most common when you add extra scrutiny to the received emails inbox.
- This feature filters spam from your inbox through challenge-response verification.
- When an account with BoxTrapper enabled receives an email, BoxTrapper automatically sends a verification email in response.
The sender must complete the verification process before the email can pass to your inbox.
Resolution
BoxTrapper protects your inbox from spam by requiring all email senders not on your Whitelist to reply to a verification email before you can receive their mail.
If the sender does not verify the email, the verification fails and BoxTrapper never clears the message for delivery. After some time, the system automatically deletes the spam.
If you want to disable this feature, please follow the below steps,
Login to CPanel
Login to Cpanel. Look for the Tools email section
Click on Box Trapper
You will see a list of email addresses with their status of the BoxTrapper Spam Trap feature.
Click on the email where BoxTrapper is enabled.
Disable BoxtRapper
Click on the Disable button to disable the BoxTrapper Spam Trap feature.
Now others who send you an email will not receive “Your email requires verification verify#”.
